GENERAL TERMS OF USE

Welcome to the Templejedi.org website!

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Templejedi.org Site and provide information about the Temple of the Jedi Order Service, described below. When you create a Temple of the Jedi Order account or use the Templejedi.org site, you agree to these terms by default.

The Templejedi.org Service is one of the Temple of the Jedi Order products, provided to you by Temple of the Jedi Order. These Terms of Use are therefore an agreement between you and Temple of the Jedi Order.

Temple of the Jedi Order reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice; In the case of a different interpretation of a clause in a language other than French, the clause in French prevails;

2.1 To use the Service, you must first agree to the Terms. You may not use the Service or read any documents or articles on the Site if you do not agree to the Terms. This is non-negotiable. No verbal agreement from an authorized agent or employee of Temple of the Jedi Order is valid to modify these terms.

2.2 You may accept the Terms by simply agreeing to use the Service. You understand and agree that Temple of the Jedi Order will treat your use of the Service as acceptance of the Terms from that point forward.

2.3 You may not use the Service and cannot accept the Terms if (A) you are not of legal age to enter into a binding contract with Temple of the Jedi Order, or (B) you are a person who is prohibited, or otherwise legally prohibited, from receiving or using the Service under the laws of the current country in which you reside or from which you access or use the Service.

3.1 We want our Service to be as open and inclusive as possible, but we also want it to be safe, secure and compliant with the law. We therefore need you to commit to a few restrictions in order to be part of the Templejedi.org user community.

• 3.1.1 You must be at least 18 years of age or otherwise the legal age to enter into a contract with Temple of the Jedi Order.


• 3.1.2 You shall not be prohibited from receiving any aspect of our Service under applicable laws or engaging in payment-related Services if you are on an applicable list of refused parties.


• 3.1.3 We must not have previously deactivated your account for breach of the law or any of our policies. Otherwise, we must not have disabled your account for use that compromises Temple of the Jedi Order from providing the service to its general users.

4.1 You agree not to use the Services to:

• 4.1.1 obtain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or Temple of the Jedi Order' servers, systems, networks or data; A functionality defect or security vulnerability does not constitute authorization;


• 4.1.2 make available any content that is harmful to children, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, tortious, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;


• 4.1.3 violate any applicable law or regulation; it is not acceptable for you to stretch the law in the sense of violating the law without applicable consequences;


• 4.1.4 impersonate any person or entity; or falsify or manipulate headers or identifiers to disguise the origin of any content transmitted through the Service;


• 4.1.5 make available any Content that you do not have the right to make available or that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any person or entity;


• 4.1.6 post content containing advertisements or other commercial solicitations without our prior written permission; unless it complies with our usage policy in the sense that these advertisements or other solicitations are framed by the functions made available to users of the Service;


• 4.1.7 make available viruses or any other computer code, files, programs or content designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of the Services or affect other users; OR


• 4.1.8 interfere with, block or disrupt the Services or servers, systems or networks connected to the Services in any way.

5.1 Upon becoming aware of a potential breach of these Terms, Temple of the Jedi Order reserves the right (but shall have no obligation) to decide whether the Content complies with the content requirements set out in these Terms and may remove such Content and/or terminate a User's access to download Content that is in breach of these Terms at any time, without notice and in its sole discretion.

6.1 We want you to enjoy Temple of the Jedi Order, so if you have a problem or dispute, you agree to raise it and try to resolve it with us informally. You can contact us with comments and concerns here or by emailing us at info@templejedi.org.

6.2 Except for the governmental entities listed below: any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be governed by the laws of Quebec, other than its conflict of law rules: all disputes relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought solely in the federal or state courts located in Montreal, Quebec: and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

7.1 We do our best to provide the best service and specify clear guidelines for all who use them. Our Service, however, is provided "as is" and "as available", and we do not warrant that they will always be safe, secure or error-free, or that they will operate without interruptions, delays or imperfections. To the extent permitted by law, we ALSO DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not control or direct what people and others do or say, and we are not responsible for their actions or conduct (whether online or offline) or any content they share (including offensive, inappropriate, obscene, illegal and other objectionable content).

7.2 It is possible that the Jedi Temple content provided by Temple of the Jedi Order or his collaborators are perceived as offensive, but we are not committed to satisfying everyone. No guarantee of satisfaction is valid here. The user of the Service must make his own personal judgment here about what he reads and determine for himself within what limit he gives true or false to the content he reads or what credible level he gives to the content. We do not guarantee any truth specified in Temple of the Jedi Order' texts, and we are not responsible for their interpretation by the user of the Service.

7.3 We cannot predict when problems might arise with our Service. Accordingly, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and in no event shall we be liable to you for any loss of profits, revenue, information or data, or any consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive or incidental damages arising out of or related to these Terms or the Templejedi.org Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Temple of the Jedi Order Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you have paid us directly to Temple of the Jedi Order in the last twelve months.

8.1 Temple of the Jedi Order grants you a personal, worldwide, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the software provided to you in connection with the Services. This license is for the sole purpose of allowing you to use and enjoy the benefits of the Services as provided by Temple of the Jedi Order, in the manner permitted by these Terms.

8.2 The Services are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws of the United States and foreign countries. Nothing in the Terms gives you the right to use the Temple of the Jedi Order name or any of the Temple of the Jedi Order trademarks, logos, domain names and other distinctive features of the Temple of the Jedi Order trademark. All right, title and interest in and to the Services (excluding User Provided Content) are and shall remain the exclusive property of Temple of the Jedi Order (TotJO) and its licensors. Any feedback, comments or suggestions you may provide regarding Temple of the Jedi Order or the Services are entirely voluntary and we will be free to use such comments, comments or suggestions as we see fit and without any obligation to you.

9.1 The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and to the extent permitted by law without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. In addition, although Temple of the Jedi Order attempts to provide a good user experience, we do not represent or warrant that: (A) the Services will always be secure, error-free or timely; (B) The Services will always operate without delays, disruptions or imperfections; or (C) any content, user content or information you obtain on or through the Services will be timely or accurate.

10.1 Temple of the Jedi Order welcomes comments, questions, concerns or suggestions. You can contact us or get help using this online form.

11.1 Certain links (hyperlinks) in this website will lead to websites that are hosted by our partners or users. When you click on any of these links, you will leave this website and we have no control over, and will not accept any responsibility for, the material on any website that is not under our control. You should be aware that the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third-party websites may be different from those applicable to this website.

11.2 The Services may contain links to third-party websites, products or services, which may be posted by advertisers, our affiliates, partners or other users ("Third Party Content"). Third Party Content is not under our control and we are not responsible for their websites, products or services. Your use of Third Party Content is at your own risk and you should make any inquiries you deem necessary before proceeding with any transaction in connection with such Third Party Content.

11.3 The Services may also contain Sponsored Third Party Content or advertisements. The type, degree, and targeting of advertisements is subject to change, and you acknowledge and agree that we may place advertisements in connection with the display of any Content or information on the Services, including Your Content.
